Dear Parents,
Covid-19 continues to have a dramatic affect on our daily lives, and we are doing all within our power to make this year in which your family journeys with one of our younger parishioners to the reception of the Sacraments one of memorable and meaningful celebration.
Our grouping of Parishes hope to celebrate the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation after Easter and before the end of the current school year. Current confirmed dates for sacraments can be viewed by clicking Here (These will be updated on an ongoing basis)
The Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation are solely for children baptised in the Roman Catholic faith. Proof of baptism is required in order to receive these Sacraments.
Registering your child with our Parish for these Sacraments facilitates the Parishes in:
- Knowing the number of people who wish to receive each Sacrament
- Arranging the ceremonies bearing in mind any Covid-19 restrictions that may be in place at the time
- Being able to keep parents informed of any relevant information, updates, changes etc. in relation to the preparation and celebration of these Sacraments.
- Keeping in touch after the celebration of the Sacrament.
If you wish your child to receive any of these Sacraments in our Parishes this year, please complete the appropriate Registration Form which you can link to below.
Closing date for registration is 20th February 2022.

First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion:
In order to complete the registration form, you will need to:
- Consider what it means for your son or daughter to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion
- Discuss with your son or daughter the meaning and implications of receiving these Sacraments
- Be willing to support your son or daughter in preparing for and celebrating these Sacraments
- Be able to provide proof of baptism in the Roman Catholic faith for your son or daughter. (You must provide a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate by email or post to the parish office by 20th February 2022. – Only on receipt of this will your child’s registration be considered complete)

- Discuss with your son or daughter the meaning and implications of receiving Confirmation
- Be willing to support your son or daughter in preparing for and celebrating this Sacrament
- Be able to provide proof of baptism in the Roman Catholic faith for your son or daughter. (You must provide a copy of your child’s Baptism Certificate by email or post to the parish office by 20th February 2022. – Only on receipt of this will your child’s registration be considered complete)
